Chef's Knife

$525.00

Made from W2 steel, this is the only non-52100 blade in this batch. It does have a simple hamon. The balance is blade-forward, and the blade has a large amount of distal taper forged in, with a very robust and convex heel area that transitions over the length of the blade to a thin and fine tip. You might call this a workhorse although I admit I don’t quite know how to quantify that description. The blade is finely hand-sanded choil and spine are polished. The handle is ten-sided in cross section, made with stabilized koa wood, and heirloom fitted to a stainless steel ferrule. Like all the knives in this batch it is constructed with a threaded tang and secured with a tang nut.
