Chef's Knife

$500.00

This blade has a gently curved cutting edge and a dropped tip. It has a large amount of distal taper forged in, tapering very quickly from a thick spine at the pinch grip to a thin and fine point. The back inch or two of the blade near the heel is robust and convex behind the edge, getting thinner and flatter toward the tip. It has a belt finish with a polished spine and choil. The black-and-white ebony handle is medium sized, maybe on the larger side of medium, and oval in cross section, with the balance point right in front of the ferrule at the pinch. The ferrule material is custom made gem bronze. The tang nut is copper.
